JOIN US AS A VOLUNTEER OR ADVOCATE
Serving as a VOLUNTEER for the Leon County Domestic Violence Advocates is a fulling and meaningful way to serve the community. Volunteer opportunities exist for individuals who have only a few hours on a sporadic schedule or for those who are willing to be trained ADVOCATES on a regular basis.

Some opportunities include office work, running errands, distributing materials, and planning events. Other volunteer opportunities include participating in training sessions on array of topics including, but not limited to, advocating for victims in contact with an abusive partner or ex-partner, conflict resolution, enhanced services to children and youth exposed to domestic violence, social media engagement, economic empowerment strategies, effective program management, effective policy advocacy approaches, and more. Training and educational opportunities are open to the community - even if you cannot commit to any volunteer hours at this time.
HOST AN INFORMATION SESSION
Many educational and training sessions have valuable information that extends the boundaries of domestic violence and sexual assault. If you are involved in an organization that would benefit from knowing more about domestic violence, sexual assault, or any of the topics listed above, contact Tanya Foster at 903-388-5600 to discuss hosting an information session.
MAKE A DONATION
